Friday, 10 February 2006

Fourmilehouse was in celebratory mood last weekend when the McSharry family held an open day at McSharry Bros. Plant Sales to mark the thirty-fifth anniversary of their foundation. Cyril McSharry and his brother Michael started McSharry Bros. and ran it together until 1992, at which time the company was dissolved and reopened under its present title by Cyril and Kathleen. Other members of the family are also involved in the business, with Raymond in the Galway office and Ronan and Roisin in Fourmilehouse. During the open day, long service medals were presented to Seamus Farrell, Bobby Hunt, James Morris, Sean Tully and Stephen Feeney.
