Leading property magazine Irish Property News has become the latest casualty in the construction slowdown, having ceased trading due to dwindling advertising revenues. Established in 2004 by publisher Joan Fitzpatrick and Don Buckley, the monthly title sold over 7,500 copies at the height of the property boom but had been running at a loss since the end of 2007. Mr Buckley said they were forced to close after a failed last ditch effort to save the magazine and added that the title's directors would now have to reach agreements with its creditors using their own financial resources.
