Wednesday, 10 December 2008

Aon Corporation , a provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage and human capital consulting, is to establish a new global centre of excellence in Dublin's IFSC. The new centre will add 100 high-skill jobs to the 460 staff it already employs at its retail and employee benefit operations in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Mullingar and Belfast. Aon’s global centre of excellence will provide advanced research and development technology for its global operations.

Stephen Cross, chief executive of Aon Global Risk Consulting, said despite significant competition from other countries around the world, Aon Corporation had chosen Ireland as a base for its new Centre of Excellence for a number of reasons, including the strength of its existing Irish operation, a well-educated workforce and its geographical position.
