Certified Public Accountant Bernadette McGrory-Farrell, MBA, has been reappointed to the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the worldwide organisation for the accountancy profession. She has also been appointed as a member of IFAC's Planning and Finance Committee, having successfully completed a term as chair of the IFAC Audit Committee.
Bernadette is a partner with Drogheda firm W.O. McGrory and Co , Certified Public Accountants and is also managing director of Omac Management Services.
She was the first female president of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) and the first ever nominee of an Irish accountancy body to be appointed to the IFAC Board.
