The Department of Computing & Maths at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology has launched a new project laboratory for games, robotics and multimedia work, in association with Microsoft Ireland. The new laboratory, which will benefit third- and fourth-year computing students, has six Xbox 360 elites, seven high-end development PCs and a multi-user touch screen DiamondTouch table computer.
