Journalism students at the University of Limerick have produced a local newspaper for the Moyross community, the first such publication in Ireland for a disadvantaged community. The Moyross Voice was launched by university President Professor Don Barry and is a team project by the first 12 graduates of the Diploma/MA in Journalism at UL. The newspaper is part of a community outreach project supported by Professor Barry and the contributors to the President's Dinner which takes place in May.
