Cork: Kanturk scouts celebrate anniversary |

A Mass concelebrated by Canon Corkery, Father David Keneally and Father Joe Rohan began the thirtieth anniversary celebrations for the Kanturk Scouting Group on a recent Saturday. The Mass was attended by many leading scouters including Commissioner North Cork Martin Flahive, and afterwards the congregation proceeded to the Edel Quinn Hall where a photographic display had been mounted. Here a community award was presented to Jim O'Connor, representing the GAA, on behalf of the scouts in thanks for the weekly use of the hall. Service awards were also presented to Liam Winters and Breda Wallace.
