According to Miriam Lord in the Irish Times it was an unedifying affair, with many of those in attendance chatting and eating. The manager of the Shrine, Pat Lavelle, reported that the basilica was left in a 'terrible state' following the gathering. Both Mr Coleman and his colleague Keith Henderson have since conveyed messages which they claim to have received from the Virgin Mary.
The next predicted event is to take place on December 5 and Mr Lavelle wishes to consult with the Archbishop of Tuam on aspects of safety and organisation. Dr Michael Neary is, however, very unhappy with the entire phenomenon. |
