Bookmakers Paddy Power has announced expansion plans which will see the creation of some 250 new jobs, at its west Dublin headquarters in Tallaght, over the next three and a half years. The expansion is in the online sports betting market and the first 50 people, with technology and risk management skills, are to be recruited by the summer of next year.
The expansion arises from an agreement with the French state-controlled horse racing betting agency, PMU, under which the Irish company will assist with bet pricing and risk management, for a five-year period.
