When the final round of the Laois Nationalist car giveaway bingo competition took place last week, with contestants Margaret Bergin and Gemma Smyth both waiting on one number to win the prize, it was always going to be a family affair. For last year it was Margaret's sister Breda Fitzpatrick who won the car, while Gemma was sitting beside her godmother, Annette Smyth, the winner of the car two years ago. In the event it was Margaret, who works in the local hospital, whose number came up first and she was presented with the keys of a Ford Ka.
