The Parades Commission has allowed a loyalist band to march past the Ardoyne site of the murder of Patrick McKenna despite the fact that the band honours Mr McKenna's killer. The Catholic man's family has expressed outrage at the granting of permission to the Shankill Star band whose drums carry the slogan “In memory of Brian Robinson”. After killing the 43-year-old Robinson was shot dead by a unit of the British Army as he fled the scene 20 years ago.
