Father and son Seán and John Doyle, directors of Owencrest Properties Ltd of Roscommon, and a second son, Noel Doyle, a director of Roscommon Building Co. Of Ardsallagh, Roscommon, were fined a total of €350k after pleading guilty to breaches in health and safety leading to the death of a Polish worker. Czeslav Malinowski (49) died when he fell from a teleporter on a building site on Roscommon’s Main Street in April 2006. His widow, Danuta, suffered a second tragedy a year later when their only son died in a car accident in Poland.
