Portrush-born Lt Col. Mark McKinney became the first British Army officer to instruct at the Curragh Camp since the foundation of the State. Now living near Perth in Scotland, the member of the Royal Marines Reserves helped deliver a programme on human rights and humanitarian law at the Defence Forces UN training centre. Lt Col. McKinney spent eight days at the Curragh. |
