At Garda Headquarters on Tuesday, Garda Commissioner Fachtna Murphy launched a three-year strategy statement and a policing plan for 2010. Top of the agenda for An Garda Síochána is the fight against organised crime. The next three issues, in order of priority, are the fight against terrorism, whether home grown or imported; continued enforcement of road traffic legislation to further reduce road deaths; and combating anti-social behaviour.
