If you ever visited the Patrician Hall in Carrickmore, Co. Tyrone since it opened in 1962, Cathy Muldoon of Carrickmore would love to hear from you.
The Patrician Hall in Carrickmore, Co. Tyrone is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2012 and as part of those celebrations an exhibition and publication outlining the five decades is being compiled to mark the occasion.
The venue was known the length and breadth of the Country, particularly throughout the Showband era, and was acknowledged as one of the great Ballrooms of romance. I would like to ask readers of The Irish Emigrant who were ever in The Hall over the past five decades to share their memories from 1962 up until the present day. If you have photographs or video footage we would also love to include them in the exhibition and publication. You can post or email copies if desired, all items received will be returned.
If you would like to find out further information you can contact me, Cathy Muldoon, as outlined below.
