The first centre for corporate governance to be established in Ireland will be run by the Institute of Directors in conjunction with the Smurfit School of Business in University College Dublin. The centre will offer courses in all aspects of corporate governance to Irish company directors and will also act as a research centre for the publication of papers. The centre was officially opened by Tánaiste Mary Harney last week.
